Vets Homes mark 1 year under MDVA
The five Minnesota Veterans Homes marked the first year under the new governance system. The Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs now runs the homes.

Minnesota has 3 Nat'l chairmanships
Minnesota still has three chairmanships of national committees following the appointments to National announced recently.

Training session will feature Conatser
Past National Commander Marty Conatser of Illinois will be at the Feb. 21-22 training session at Buffalo. All of the Legion Family is encouraged to attend.

A Two-Ocean War
Jim Downey began the war on his LST at Omaha Beach. By the end  of 1945, he had also visited Iwo Jima, Okinawa, China and Japan.
