The Minnesota American Legion Family Hospital Association was created by a resolution passed at the Department’s 4th annual convention in 1922. Its mission is simple:

• To help veterans who have serious medical needs but lack the money to pay for specialized care.

• Over time, the Association expanded to serve veterans from World War II, the Korean War, Vietnam, the Gulf War, and the War on Terror.
